Aspire Teen Cookery Course

Aspire have organised an Asperger Teen cookery workshop on March 31st from 14.00-15.30 for teenagers aged 13-17. The cookery workshop will be held in Kids Cook in Clonee and only costs €20. To register and pay for your son or daughter to attend this class, fill in the form below!

We are delighted to announce that we have been granted funding from the HSE National Lottery Grant to host a series of workshops. There workshops are a unique opportunity to gain insights into and strategies for living with neurodiversity.

Managing Neuro Diversity – Practical Strategies for Living with ADHD, Asperger Syndrome, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia


Workshop Topics:

  • Coping with Change presented by Veronica Leaney, Education and Training Officer, Aspire (Asperger Syndrome Association of Ireland)
  • Assistive Technology presented by Amy Smyth, Information & Advocacy Coordinator (Dyslexia Association of Ireland)
  • Parenting a Neuro Diverse Teen – Lessons from the Frontline, Carla McElwee, Parent (Dyspraxia DCD Ireland)
  • Neurodiversity in the Workplace presented by Ken Kilbride and Nicola Coss, ADHD Ireland.


Workshop 1: Portlaoise Parish Centre on Tuesday April 10th from 10am to 3pm (light lunch will be provided).  Parking is available at the venue. Please get a disc at reception. To register for Workshop 1, please visit
