Become a Member!

We are very grateful for all of our members and the contribution that they make to the Organisation. Membership to Aspire is open and welcome to anyone who would like to gain support and be a part of increasing supports to people with Asperger  Syndrome and their families and promoting awareness and understanding. Membership runs from January to December and the current annual fee is €70.00. Your membership fee ensures that we are able continue with our mission of providing relevant information and advice to people with Asperger Syndrome and their families.

As a member, you will receive:

• A membership pack containing useful information, tips and advice, service information and a free copy of the Aspire DVD

• Reduced rates for seminars, conferences and talks held throughout the year

• Regular email bulletins containing useful information about upcoming events, research and activities

• Priority access to places on the Aspire Drama in Education (subject to availability)

What happens when your application is received?

Under the Memorandum and Articles of Association of The Asperger Syndrome Association of Ireland Limited, “The Board shall not be bound to give any reason for accepting or refusing the application of any person for admission to membership of the Association”. Once your application for membership is received, you will be granted provisional membership of the Association for a two monthly period (60 days) or until the next board meeting when your application will be reviewed and either accepted or denied. Within this time frame you will have all the same rights and privileges as a full member of the organisation. Once your application for membership has been accepted, you will be automatically promoted to full membership status.
